What relatives say about us...
I am so very pleased with the way that the staff at The Coombe House look after the residents, I doubt if I could find a better place for my mother, if she has any problems the staff do their utmost to help her. As a visitor, I always feel very welcome
The home is run very much as a family environment and has a wonderful atmosphere. Visitors are welcome at anytime and always offered refreshments and if required an update on the resident's well being. The staff are always professional but also how great affection for the residents. An excellent home from home.
Many of our residents are recommended by former residents and their families, we feel its the best endorsement any residential care home can have. But don't take our word for it, see what others say about our care home and why not contact us to have a look around to meet our staff and residents.
Highly Recommended Care
The Care Quality Commission regulate care provided by the NHS, local authorities, private companies and voluntary organisations. Their aim is to make sure better care is provided for everyone – in hospitals, residential care homes and people’s own homes. The latest CQC inspection report (March 2016) can be read using the CQC link below.
Past reports can also be found on the CQC website where residents were complimentary about the owners and staff:
'The people and relatives we spoke with were happy with the care, support and activities provided. One relative said they were “very happy” with the home and another described the staff as “lovely”. One of the people supported said the staff were “excellent” and another said “I have confidence in the staff”.
